Andy Zhu
PRINCIPAL, CO-FOUNDER
Andy Zhu is the cofounder and principal of MFX Ventures, where he manages client coordination, business development, and investment structuring. As the team’s Client Strategist™ Andy enjoys getting to the root of client needs and creating the financial and investment strategy for project success. He is passionate about discovering innovative uses of our resources to provide accessible, safe, and healthy homes for all, and is focused on providing purpose-built spaces for current and future generations.
Andy is a trusted voice in the development and investment sphere, having amassed a following of over 100,000 on TikTok who listen to his thoughts about markets and the future of investing (@genzrebuilds). He also has been a featured speaker on the CREative Talks Real Estate Podcast, Microlife Institute's annual Tiny Home Festival, Conservice's Inaugural Single Family Home Conference as well as several appearances on the IMN conference circuit. He graduated Vanderbilt Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 2020 with degrees in Political Science and Medicine, Health, and Society, and is one of the proud few remaining Nashville natives.
Andy is was previously the Director of Business Development and Investment Analysis for Pentagon Holdings, a build-for-rent, multifamily, and mixed-use developer based in Nashville with over 1600 units in its pipeline. While at Pentagon, he underwrote over 1.5B in potential deal flow over multifamily, mixed-use, and single-family build-for-rent asset classes and managed the company's capital markets process, including sourcing for acquisition loans, land development loans, construction loans, and business lines of credit.
When he's not talking business or real estate, you can find Andy playing (amateur) guitar and piano, dancing salsa, or brewing his homemade mead. He serves as a member of the Metro Nashville Homelessness Planning Council's Resource Development Committee and Performance Evaluation Committee. He is extremely involved in the Urban Land Institute, and is on several committees including Pathways to Inclusion and the Private Markets Attainable Housing Action Committee.

Joseph Davidson
PRINCIPAL, CO-FOUNDER
Joseph Davidson is the cofounder and principal of MFX Ventures, where he leads investment research efforts on behalf of clients and community partners. As the team’s Excel Wizard ™ Joseph enjoys creating ad hoc financial models and digging into the weeds of preexisting client templates, has underwritten over 1.5B in prospective deals for MFX clients, and is always happy to discuss the nuances of SUMIF versus summed XLOOKUP ranges on model output speeds. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Congress for the New Urbanism.
Joseph is also the Director of Investment Research for Urban Campus & Core, an impact focused development firm focused on community partnerships and unlocking opportunity for historically marginalized groups. Prior to starting MFX, Joseph held roles in development feasibility and investment analysis for Hamilton Development and Lincoln Property Company. He holds his Bachelors in Economics from Vanderbilt University, where he was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Outside of his professional interests Joseph is a classically trained guitarist and is an active member of Nashville’s Latin Dance community.
Joseph grew up in the Arkansas mountains, and the impacts of walkable green space and nature advocacy efforts throughout his youth have gone on to shape his professional efforts to create a healthier, more sustainable built environment. As someone who battled homelessness during high school and college, Joseph is passionate about the preservation of naturally occurring affordable housing and actively seeks to support developers engaging in affordable housing development.

Lindsey Bryant
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Lindsey Bryant is Director of Operations for MFX Ventures, where she leverages a decade of experience to optimize operational processes, ensuring seamless financial management and client services. Lindsey is a seasoned financial operations professional with a diverse background spanning commercial real estate, financial services, and operations management.
Throughout her career, Lindsey has excelled in roles such as Equity Markets Manager at Trilogy Real Estate Group, where she oversaw $140M in commercial real estate investments, investor relations and served on their DEI Council. Her expertise includes marketing, project management, and compliance. Lindsey's ability to streamline operations, improve processes, and deliver high-quality results across industries makes her an invaluable asset to MFX and clients alike.
Lindsey is dedicated to excellence and takes a proactive, results-oriented approach, using her financial and operational expertise to fuel business success and drive growth in fast-paced environments. She is passionate about fostering inclusivity, supporting families in achieving economic stability through access to safe and secure housing.
In her free time, Lindsey spends time outdoors with her rescue dog, cooking, and getting creative with watercolor painting. She enjoys traveling and is an avid Swiftie.
